FACULTY POSITION IN POLITICAL SCIENCE (TENURE-TRACK). The Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse (IAST) and the Toulouse School of Economics and Quantitative Social Sciences (TSE) invite applications for an assistant professor tenure-track position in political science based in Toulouse, France.

TSE and IAST are world-class institutions in the fields of economics and quantitative social sciences, hosting more than 150 international faculty with a strong commitment to multidisciplinary research. We seek candidates with a strong research background in analytical and quantitative political science. The position comes with a substantial research budget and a flexible and scalable teaching load (42h minimal annual load). Candidates should show strong leadership in leading research programs leveraging the interdisciplinarity of IAST and the strong group of economists at TSE. Research interests close to those already developed at IAST and TSE would be highly appreciated, including but not limited to public opinion and public policies, comparative studies of democratic institutions, democratization in developing countries, and experimental political science. Priority will be given to candidates with an empirical research agenda.
