Biography

Maria is an applied mathematician with interests in the evolution of social behaviour in both microbes and humans. She received her PhD from the University of Queensland in 2019. Before joining IAST as a research fellow, she was a member of the research group of Krishnendu Chatterjee at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria and a visiting researcher of the Behavioral Economics group at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna.
