Room MS003
This seminar lifts the lid on the research underpinning Dr Suzannah Lipscomb's Distinguished Lecture of the previous day. Exploring one or two consistorial cases from manuscript and transcription through to translation and interpretation, this seminar will explore the challenges, limits, and riches of the archival sources, and how it possible to derive historical meaning from them.
