Abstract
Have you ever stared at a blank page not knowing what to write? Do you sometimes fear that your writing fails to engage your readers? In this talk, I will share tips and lessons for aspiring non-fiction writers including: When to use stories and why? What voices to use and when? And, how to structure long form narratives, such as those required in a book or article. This talk should be of the interest of anyone for whom writing and storytelling are a key part of their professional toolbox.
